Due to elections being held the same day (11/15) as the AYBA draft, the Galvez draft has been moved to the Prairieville Middle School gyms.

To view draft times for each age group, please click on “Our Program” and select “Draft Info” from the menu.

League Details:

Age Range:
Boys aged 5 to 16 years old
Girls aged 5 to 13 years old
Registration Period:
Oct 1st to Oct 31st, 2025 (online only)
Registration Fee:
$80 per child

At your respective middle school
Practices begins:
Early December
Season Begins:
Saturday, January 10th, 2026
Season Ends:

Who we are:

AYBA is a recreational basketball league for boys & girls living in Ascension Parish. Our goal is to provide children with an opportunity to learn & play basketball and have fun doing it!

Volunteers Needed:

We are always looking for community-minded people willing to volunteer some time to AYBA. Try coaching a team. Or, being an assistant coach. How about lending a hand as a concession stand operator or assistant? Contact us if interested at johnq.ayba@gmail.com
